Menstrual Cup
Environmentally friendly alternative to sanitary napkins and tampons that is simple to use. The menstrual cup is produced in medical silicone that ensures an anti-bacterial and hygienic use. The cup is comfortable to use as it, when unfolded, adapts to the body for the best possible comfort. The menstrual cup maintains the body's natural pH balance as it only collects what the body itself excretes and thus does not dry out or irritate the skin. On average, the cup must be emptied twice daily and can be used during exercise, swimming and at night.
The mini size fits a teenager.
A size fits a woman who has not given birth vaginally.
The B size fits a woman who has given birth vaginally.
The cup should boil for 3 minutes with plenty of water before first use. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the menstrual cup. The cup can be folded in several different ways, so find the way that works best for you. When the cup is inserted correctly, it unfolds and creates a vacuum. If the cup is not unfolded correctly, you can try to squeeze the bottom of the cup and turn it slightly from side to side. If the stem is too long, it can be adjusted by cutting it shorter. When the cup is to be taken out and emptied, you grab the stem and carefully pull it out and empty it in the toilet. Then wash and re-insert. After each cycle, boil and disinfect the cup again and store in the supplied bag. The cup lasts for about 10 years.
