Berthelsen Iron + C is a vegetable food supplement that is extra gentle on the stomach. The dietary supplement contains as much as 27 mg of iron and 90 mg of acid-neutral vitamin C per tablet. The product is completely vegetable.

Iron
Iron has many good properties, and the product can therefore be used by everyone. Iron counteracts fatigue and exhaustion by helping the formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, thereby ensuring normal and healthy oxygen transport in the body. In addition, iron also plays an important role in the body's cognitive functions, ensures a normally functioning immune system and a natural cell division process.

The symptoms of iron deficiency are typically manifested by fatigue.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C increases the body's absorption of iron.

Increased need in children, teenagers and pregnant women:
In the growing age, iron contributes to healthy and natural cell division and growth, and is therefore an important part of the diet of children and young people in the growing stage.
In the same way, iron is also an important supplement for pregnant women, as the fetus takes a lot of the iron supplied in the diet. The Danish Health Authority recommends that pregnant women take a daily iron supplement of 40-50 mg already from the 10th week of pregnancy and throughout the pregnancy. If the woman suffers from nausea, this can be postponed until the 18th week of pregnancy at the latest.

If you have lost blood, either through a blood transfusion, menstruation or in an accident, iron supplements can be taken with advantage.

Application:
Between meals, the body is better able to absorb iron, which is why the tablet is taken separately once a day between two larger meals.

Sodium ascorbate, ferrous fumarate, bulking agents (maltodextrin*, microcrystalline cellulose), surface treatment agents (silicon oxide, stearic acid, magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), color (iron oxide, titanium dioxide).

*Maize, does not contain gluten.
