All pads from Women's Place are sold in a pack of 3. Here you get the following:
- 1 piece. panty liner 20cm. (For light bleeding - 20 cm.)
- 1 piece. diaper 25cm. (For medium bleeding - 25 cm.)
- 1 piece. day diaper XL/night diaper 30cm. (For heavy bleeding and night - 30 cm.)
All pads from Women's Place are sewn in 100% organic cotton and consist of several protective layers and a waterproof layer so you can't bleed through.
Contents:
2 layers of gauze – Gauze, which lies against the skin, is woven cotton that is not only highly absorbent, but also breathable and soft against your skin.
3 layers of cotton flannel – Cotton flannel is highly absorbent while encapsulating the blood between the layers. This means that the pad can last as long as ordinary disposable pads and that they are close to odorless.
1 layer of waterproof PUL – PUL (PolyUrethan Laminate) is a thin, flexible and waterproof membrane that is the most environmentally friendly way to make fabric waterproof. PUL is heat-treated on the bottom piece of fabric and is therefore hidden inside the bandage.
Washing and handling:
Cloth pads from Women's Place can last up to 10 years if handled correctly. Discoloration can occur because women have different PH values and because blood can stain, but if you wash according to the instructions, your pads can stay looking great for a very long time. Store your used pads in your wet bag until they need to be washed. This bag is odor-proof and water-resistant. Feel free to throw your wet bag into the machine together with the pads.
- Rinse your pads in cold water before washing - Either in the machine on the rinse cycle or by hand.
- Wash at 60 degrees. Preferably together with other kitchen sink.
- Shake the bandage lightly to straighten it.
- Hang to dry.
- (Avoid tumble dryer, fabric softener, bleach and ironing).
