If you have a wound, it is important that you treat it properly. The wound needs to be cleaned and should be kept moist and protected. The biggest myth about wound healing is that wounds should be exposed to air to dry out. That's why many people believe that they don't need a band-aid if they hurt themselves. However, this approach is not recommended.

Salvequick wound cleaner

Medical research has shown that wounds heal faster in a moist environment than in a dry and airy environment because new cells form faster in the moist environment and the risk of scarring and infection is lower*. In a moist environment, skin cells migrate faster, resulting in faster wound healing (up to twice as fast). In addition, as skin cells migrate to cover the wound, there is no blockage of the wound cavity, reducing the risk of scarring. The environment also provides optimal conditions for the body's cells to fight bacteria, reducing the risk of infection.
