Clarins is a French brand whose history started in 1954 in Paris. The man behind the company is named Jacques Courtin-Clarins, and he believed that well-being and happiness were inextricably linked with beauty. Jacques started by developing massage oils in his beauty spa. At the urging of his large crowd of customers, he chose to expand the brand to what we know today as Clarins.
