At first, John Laverock, hairdresser and upscale salon owner, thought he was up to the challenge of caring for his children's hair.

But with 5 girls with long hair, tangles began to rule the house the morning. John combined his creativity as a stylist with his curiosity for design to create the ultimate detangling brush. It combined technical principles with high-quality components that allow you to remove tangles and knots effortlessly and without hair loss or pain.

THE KNOT DR was born. As a stylist, my goal was to create a hairbrush that saved time while providing gentle, painless detangling. At the same time, I wanted to create a brush that my girls would enjoy using.
