Smith's Rosebuds

The company behind the legendary Rosebud ointments is called Rosebud Perfume Company and was founded by Dr. George F. Smith in 1895. Dr. Smith owned a pharmacy in Woodsboro, Maryland, USA. Here he was encouraged by friends and family to create an ointment that could be used on irritated areas and small burns on the skin.

Dr. Smith called the product “Balm of Rosebuds.” This is the product that is now called Rosebud Ointment. The ointment became very popular with employees who went door to door selling the product. Dr. Smith therefore had to expand his pharmacy, which was located in what is now the Rosebud building. Today the product is sold worldwide and new variants have been added since then.

Among other things, Smith's Menthol and Eucalyptus Balm , which in addition to nourishment and moisture, Can also be used for pain in muscles, joints and tendons. Eucalyptus oil and menthol soothe and give the skin a fresh feeling. If you have a cold, you can apply a little of the product under your nose. Menthol relieves cold feelings and creates clear airways in the nose.

Smiths Balm is available in different varieties with different scents such as strawberry, mocha and vanilla as well as mint and rose.
