For centuries, women of the Quechua-Shuar tribes have traveled deep into the Amazon rainforest to follow a special beauty ritual.

Here they have created Rahua Oil which they swear is the secret behind their thick, shiny and healthy hair. In the 1990s, these women shared their experiences and secret recipe with renowned New York stylist Fabian Lliguin, who is from Quechua. Lliguin tested the product on his customers' hair in the salon and immediately discovered the amazing effect and results.

Dry and damaged hair was given new life and became much more elastic. Chemically treated, colored hair became shinier. In addition to having a great effect on customers' hair, Lliguin also found that the products had another wonderful property, they also had a calming effect on irritated scalps.

Lliguin and his wife Anna Ayers founded Amazon Secret based in New York and developed the Rahua products. The key to Rahu's unique performance is its molecular structure. The small Rahua oil molecule penetrates deep into the hair's cortex and repairs it - giving the hair a smooth and even surface.
