The name Lalique evokes the beauty of fine jewelry and the translucent shine of crystals. The company takes its name from the artistic genius and master jeweler and glassmaker René-Jules Lalique, who put all his creative enthusiasm into the brand.

Lalique opened his jewelry and glassware store in 1905. His Art Deco and Art Nouveau creations often incorporated natural elements and inspiration in both materials and shapes. The perfumer François Coty was so impressed by his work that he proposed a collaboration that resulted in the creation of beautiful perfume bottles.

Lalique has always been connected to the world of fragrances, even though they only launched their first perfume in 1992. Today, all Lalique fragrances are characterized by their unique bottles and the exquisite quality of the ingredients and the aroma itself.

The Lalique team of passionate designers, founded in 1888, is continually inspired by the French founder René Lalique's love for women, flora and fauna. Still based in Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace, France's leading glassmaking region, traditional techniques meet modern technology. The brand has integrated digital design and 3D printing into a process that can include up to 40 different steps.
