Ben Gorham – The Artist Behind the Brand
Ben Gorham, born in Sweden to an Indian mother and a Canadian father, grew up in Toronto, New York, and Stockholm. After graduating with a degree in fine arts from Stockholm’s art school, his life took an unexpected turn when he met perfumer Pierre Wulff. This encounter inspired Ben to create fragrances instead of paintings – a decision that has defined Byredo’s journey.

With no formal training in the perfume industry, Ben teamed up with world-renowned perfumers Olivia Giacobetti and Jerome Epinette, who helped realize his visions. As an outsider in the beauty industry, Ben Gorham has carved out a unique position, and his personal style and close connection to fashion and art have been highlighted in international media such as French Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and Fantastic Man.
