Achieve a great new look in just 3 steps:

Step 1: Preparation and mixing

• The color must be applied to dry, not freshly washed hair
• Before you start, protect your clothes with a towel, for example, and make sure you have a watch nearby so you can keep an eye on the time. Put on the gloves from the hair dye package.
• Open the cap of the application bottle with the developing emulsion.
• Open the tube with the color cream, put the back of the tube cap on.
• Squeeze the entire contents of the tube into the bottle with the developing emulsion.
• Screw the cap onto the bottle with the developing emulsion and shake vigorously until the contents have mixed into a smooth cream.
• Unscrew the cap of the bottle and immediately start applying the hair color.

Step 2: Dyeing

• Is this the first time you’ve dyed your hair? If so, the following dyeing method is recommended*:
• Distribute the dye mixture evenly throughout the hair and massage thoroughly. Apply to dry and unwashed hair and spread from roots to ends.
• Spread the dye mixture with your fingertips to ensure it is distributed throughout the hair.
• The processing time depends on the product you are using. Check the processing time on the hair dye packaging.

  1. Divide your hair into sections, e.g. with a comb.
  2. Distribute 2/3 of the color mixture into the newly grown hair. Massage the mixture into the hair with your fingertips on the scalp.

  4. The exposure time depends on which product you are using. Check the exposure time on the hair dye packaging.
  5. The remaining third is distributed throughout the rest of the hair when the color mixture has had the exposure time specified in the instructions.
  6. Remove excess hair color around the hairline and near the ears with a cotton ball soaked in warm water.

*This method is recommended if you are dyeing your hair with permanent hair color for the first time or if your previous hair color has completely grown out.
**This method is recommended if your hair has already been dyed with permanent hair color and there is visible roots.

Step 3: Rinse and you’re done

• After the soaking time, put the gloves back on, lather the mixture with a little warm water and then rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
• Massage around the hairline and into the scalp to remove any color stains on the skin.
