I became a Curly Girl because my hair was always frizzy and looked worn out.

At first it was very confusing and I couldn’t figure out how to do it with the Curly Girl method. After coming to Beautycos I had a pleasant surprise. The blog has been very helpful and supportive. There is also a whole page of approved Curly Girl products… fantastic. Is it getting easier now?

Why did I become a curly girl?
I became a Curly Girl because my hair was always frizzy and looked worn out. I was inspired by a friend who recommended the Curly Girl method to me because she had tried it herself and had success with it. Every month I can see how my curls are getting less frizzy!
How do I do that?
I tested my hair before starting and quickly realized that my hair was lacking moisture. Which was no big surprise since my hair has always been frizzy and worn out.
I remembered the last time I washed my hair and then tried different products that contained more moisture for my hair. I always wash my hair with warm water first and then rinse with cold water. This helps my hair to retain moisture more easily. I myself am very happy with the products from Living Proof and Moroccanoil. I blow dry my hair with a diffuser on low heat or use a microfiber towel to dry it.
