Caudalie creates their own products and therefore they feel obligated to choose natural, environmentally friendly and use active ingredients. They are constantly looking for new and innovative green ingredients. Caudalie's packaging is made from 100% recycled paper, and they use recycled plastic or plant-based plastic as far as possible. They have a passion for recycling waste and for minimizing their consumption of raw materials.
Caudalie uses natural and green ingredients
The patented wine extracts are sourced from French vineyards, such as Bordeaux and Champagne. Ingredients that Caudalie uses are organic grape water, botanical oils, including grape juice, fairtrade argan, borage, evening primrose oil, hibiscus, sesame, almond and musk rose. They use plant extracts with a number of benefits for the skin such as sage, chamomile, flax, verbena, sweet mint, rosemary, cassia, olive squalane, etc.
The essential oils are from carrots, lavender, lemon, neroli, palmarosa, peppermint, petitgrain, rose, rosemary and sandalwood.
Ingredients that they certainly do not use in the skin care series are parabens, phenoxyethanol, mineral oils, sodium laureth sulfate, flalates and materials extracted from animals.
Caudalie always uses the least amount of preservatives possible - all the products have the Ecocert brand and they feel obligated not to use certain controversial and artificial ingredients.
