How to apply lipstick and make sure it lasts

Take care of your lips

In order to make the lipstick appear flawless you need to make sure your lips are fully hydrated and not dry otherwise the lipstick will appear uneven on your lips. Use a nurturing and hydrating lip balm so the lips do not dry out. You can also use a lip exfoliator in order to remove the dead skin cells on your lips.

How to apply a flawless lipstick

Before you start with the lipstick, we advise you to apply a lip primer. This will help you achieve a smooth and flawless result and make the lipstick last for hours even while drinking and enjoying food.

Afterwards, apply a lip liner which is either transparent or a shade similar to the lipstick you will be using. Apply the lip liner at the tip of the lips. A lip liner makes sure that the lipstick stays on the lips and do not smudge outside onto the skin.

Apply the lip liner from the center of the lips and move outwards. Are you aiming for a look that will last the longest I would advise you to draw the lip liner all over the lips.

At the end you can add your favorite lipstick with a lip brush or by using the lipstick alone. Kiss a piece of Kleenex in order to remove any excess of color which might stain your teeth. You can finish with a transparent gloss to finish the look and make your lips appear fuller and shiny.
